Visualisation, assets creation and project management for a promo video for Regen Scientific, a Toronto based healthcare initiative.
Project Brief
ReGen Scientific, a Toronto based brand, is reimagining healthcare, by enabling individualized health journeys to obtain optimal wellbeing and health extension. Their unique approach is accredited through their proprietary Science of You Platform, which constructs unique health blueprints.
For their promo video, our vision was a clean, modern look with snappy animations and abstract thinking. Simplifying complex concepts into abstract ideas that appeal and connect with the audience was key, as well as following the brand language.
Target Audience: Older, wealthy demographics in the 40+ age range
Design Language: Pops of blue and green conveying a fresh energy associated with healthcare, combined with darker backgrounds. Clean, modern vectors.
Animation Style: Clean, fluid motion with snappy transitions.
Process
Visualisation
With this style of quick and snappy animation, each sentence in the script gets broken down into shots. For example, in the storyboard below, the transitions for the first line are broken down so that we see the dot form in the first part of the sentence, the question mark drop on the word 'despite' and the dot bounce away on 'achievements'.


Storyboard
In any creative project, ideas and concepts change along the way. With client feedback and our own creative decisions, we made changes to the visualisation during both the storyboard and animation stage. A process that requires great teamwork between the animators and illustrators, especially with short deadlines, we abstracted some concepts even further and improved on the narrative. The final result, with clean, fluid animation and minimal illustrations was a visual treat.
